BNSC transition to Executive Space Agency
Following Lord Drayson's announcement of a new Executive Agency for the UK space and satellite industry (10 December 2009), BNSC has formed a Transition Team to define the shape of the new Agency and draw up detailed plans.
The first meeting took place on Wednesday 23rd December 2009 with the members of the UK Space Board. Meetings continue to be held on a regular basis, and include relevant partners as appropriate. Work is progressing but it is still too early to speculate on exactly how the new agency will operate.
